PROMINENT ETHNIC MODELS SERIES: LIU WEN

I know for my prominent ethnic models series I have been mostly focusing on our black models. I will not lie. I believe that our black models contributed extremely into the future of the fashion world. It looks like the east have "jumped onto the bandwagon" so to speak. I will like to dedicate this series to Liu Wen.

LIP COLOUR TRENDS FOR FALL 2011

With the fall season coming a upon us for some, my makeup looks have changed slightly. I have noticed that my lip colour has changed from airy and neutral to va va voom and so bold. I have being favouring a lot of coral, ruby red, blood red, dark pink, and orange lip colours. As you can see I love anything red. I am loving the way I am able to play around with a lot of pastels. As a makeup artist, it warms my heart to play in the playground that I hold so dear to my heart. In making my face quite neutral, I allow my lips to be center stage. As well, concealer around your lips to fully shape your lips truly helps to bring your attention straight to my lips but yet making it very sophisticated and chic.

For this section I will be providing my inside look into the world of hair. The hair trends this season, I have noticed, is all about messy up dos, sleek pony tails, Marilyn Monroe curls (the curls are not tight very loose, beachy curls), and bed heads. There are more hair looks, but these are the main ones I am going to highlight.
