MAKEUP LAUGH LINES

Have you ever been a victim of makeup laugh or smile lines? I know I have been a victim until I found the secret to the holy grail. If you can not tell by the heading, I am going to be speaking of how to minimize the appearance of makeup laugh or smile lines.

Those that do not know what I may be speaking of, might be quite confused. Please let me explain. Makeup laugh or smiles lines, are lines that appear when one smiles or laughs which leaves a deep indenture around your mouth. It becomes more apparent when one is wearing makeup. It stays on the face until touch ups are done. Oh!! How I hated smiling because I was always afraid I will end up with laugh lines on my face which resulted in me having to keep touching up my makeup (Which I hated by way due to my makeup starting to look cakey and my face looking over processed). NO MORE!!

Primers can only do so much. Based on ones skin, whether it be dry, normal, combination, or oily will determine how makeup laugh or smile lines affect you.

To minimize the appearance of makeup laugh lines or smile lines:
 I use Ben Nye Final seal. Kryolan Fixier Spray can be another alternative.

• Spray Ben Nye Final seal on cotton pad 

• Pat the cotton pad with the mixture on your laugh or smile lines (DO NOT SMILE. Keep your face very natural)
• Let dry
• Pat your foundation powder on top of the sealant. DO NOT RUB.  Let sit for two minutes then use your powder brush to take of the excess. Voilà, you are good to go.

***Note: This steps are done after ones foundation routine is complete and before setting powder is applied.
