Hi every one , I know, I know. I have been completely MIA after I
promised I will do my best to keep up with my blog.
Sorry every one but
life is a B (If you know what I mean). But back to normal scheduled
programming. Contour! What does that mean in the makeup artist world?!
In my definition, it is to hide imperfections we choose to not allow
others to see or to be aware of. For example, if you one of those cursed
with a wide nose, instead of going through the scary process of getting
plastic surgery, one is able to hide the wideness how? By simply
contouring the hell out of that wide nose. Next session, we will be
talking about the proper ways to highlight the face in order to bring to
the forefront your best features. Please review the diagrams to get a
better view of the proper ways of contouring your face in order to
create a prefect canvas that suits your needs:
****NOTE:
Cheeks: As you can see, I placed the contour for the cheek bones higher then the hollow of the cheek bones. The reason I do this you ask?! I have noticed when one places the contour on the actual hollows of the cheek bones, the face looks weighed down and older. We are all trying to bet gravaity. I especially use this trick for older women because it uplifts the face and gives the face a fresher look.
Mouth: To make the lips look fuller, contour underneath the lips.
