 I am sorry but you can not be a makeup artist if you know not who Pat Mcgrath is (Old world speech on behalf of Pride and Prejudice. I love the old version). Who is Pat Mcgrath you say?

Called as the most influential makeup artist by Vogue Magazine, she became who she is during her work with Edward Enninful, who was the fashion editor of i-D magazine in 1990. Without her magic touch, they say i-D magazine would not be the magazine it is now with its national acclaim and position. Like me, Pat Mcgrath had no formal training in the act of makeup. All her work and findings were through trial and error.

Through her work she has worked and still works with many people. She has worked with photographers, the likes of: Steven Meisel (he never works with her. To have a photographer of his level to never be able to work without you is a great honour.), Paolo Roversi, Helmut Newton, and Peter Lindbergh. She works with designers: Jil Sanders, John Galliano. Her work appears in prominent magazines, fashion shows, and campaigns: of course Vogue, W, Harper’s Bazaar, Prada, Miu Miu, Comme des Garçons, Dolce and Gabbana. She is so well loved she became the head director for global creative design for Procter and Gamble, which makes her in charge of many brands including Max Factor  and Cover Girl cosmetics. It does not stop there. She also was part of designing Armani’s cosmetics line in 1999.

Due to her on-the-go travel schedule, can you believe she carries up to fifty bags of makeup and materials. I really need to get on her level. I am not worried because it is coming very soon.
