HOW TO DEAL WITH POWDERY UNDER EYE MAKEUP

Have you ever looked at your makeup during the duration of the day and the makeup under your eyes begin to become more prominent and chalky?

I have had this happen to me a couple of times. As a matter of fact it happened to me today while I was shopping. Yah, yah, I know what you are about to say, “But you are a makeup artist”. What I say to that is, “And your point is?”  The most famous of makeup artists are human as well and we also go through makeup malfunctions. LOL. This post is to help you whenever you come across that issue. I am going to tell you what I did to alleviate that problem.

To alleviate undereye powdery makeup:

Handcream or lotion: Lightly spread your lotion or handcream around in your fingertips then lightly press underneath your eyes. DO NOT RUB. Refer back here.

Refresher spray: Lightly spray your refresher spray on your face. Especially concentrate the mist around the under side of your eyes. This will help ease the chalkiness from underneath your eyes and hydrate the rest of your face.  Can find here or here.

Wet Wipes: If you do not have a refresher spray, use a wet wipe and lightly dap underneath your eyes. The wetness of the wipes will help alleviate the chalkiness and make your makeup a part of your face instead of your makeup fighting against you. You are also able to use the wet wipes on your face in order to  refresh and hydrate. Thankfully this is what saved me. I always carry wet wipes with me. You never know when you are going to need them.  I did not have my foundation brush with me and I did not want my lotion to misplace the makeup underneath my eyes. You will also notice that the wet wipes help in removing some of the oil on your face.

I hope this has helped a bit. I will be going more in depth in a later post on how to use whatever you have available to you to fix any mishaps you may encounter while out on a date, party, or out with friends. Let me know if this post helped you.
